Recurring & Pre-Generated Events

If your event runs regularly, you don't need to rebuild it every week. Set it up once as a recurring event and Guestii generates each new instance for you automatically.

How to set-up a recurring event

When creating your event, head to Date & Time and pick a cadence under Recurring: Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly. That's it. Each new instance generates automatically on your schedule, carrying across all your event information and your team invites, so your promoters and door staff are already assigned when the next one appears.

What carries across

Every instance arrives set up the way you built the original: details, artwork, venue, performers, ticket setup and team invites. You can still edit any individual instance through Manage Event without affecting the rest of the cycle.

Pre-generating a future event

Sometimes you want the next instance before the cycle creates it. Maybe you want to change details for a special edition, start promoting it early, or set up online releases in advance.

Open your recurring event, tap the calendar icon in the event header, and pick a date from your recurring cycle. Hit Pre-generate and that instance is created immediately, ready to edit and promote. The automatic cycle knows to skip that date, so you'll never end up with a double-up.

The calendar button is next to the promoter leaderboard button, this will open up the pre-generate event module.

When to pre-generate

  • Selling tickets in advance: build your online releases early and give a big night a longer sales window

  • Special editions: change the lineup, artwork or details for one date without touching your regular setup

  • Promoting ahead: get the event live on Guest Line so promoters and fans can find it weeks out
