Navigating the Scanner App

The Scanner is used by hosts at the front of the venue to check names before guests reach the payment station / Reception.

Top Bar

  • Green dot (top right), Wi-Fi connected

  • Red dot (top right), Wi-Fi disconnected, check your network before scanning

Search & Filters

  • Search bar, type a guest's name to find them quickly

  • Card Display filter (next to the search bar), choose what shows on each guest card:

    • Ticket type

    • Invited by (promoter)

    • Tags

Filter Panel

  • iPad, filters live in the left side panel on screen

  • iPhone, swipe left to reveal filters

Filter guests by:

  • Status, All, Unadmitted, Admitted

  • Ticket type

  • Invited by

  • Tags

Guest Cards

  • Tap a card to admit a guest

  • Admitted guests turn green, with a red ✕ at the end of the card to unadmit if needed

  • 🔒 Lock icon, guest has already paid through Reception

Settings

  • Toggle Show Pricing to display ticket prices on guest cards

Quick reminder

The Scanner is name-check only. Payments still happen at the Reception app at the payment station.
