Selling tickets on the door

Every door sale in Guestii runs through the Reception App, powered by the ticket types you created in Products. Prices are set before the night starts, so the door is tap and charge, not tap and think.

Guests on the list

Guests arrive with their ticket type already attached, whether it came from a promoter, an online request, or your team adding them manually. To process them, tap their name card in the Reception App. The charge runs against their pre-assigned ticket type automatically, card via Square or cash recorded in Guestii.

If a guest has a Guest Line Pass, scan their QR with the built-in scanner and process the payment from there. No searching, no list scrolling.

Walk-ins

Someone not on the list? Swipe to Quick Actions. Every ticket type assigned to the event appears as a tile with its price. Tap the tile, charge them, done. The sale is recorded against the correct ticket type, so walk-in revenue is attributed just as cleanly as guestlist revenue.

Live pricing at the door

If the event runs a Live ticket type, the price on the door updates automatically when the time rule kicks in. Your reception team never has to remember to change anything at midnight.

Price edits on the night

Ticket type tiles include an edit button for on-the-spot price adjustments. This can be disabled per Receptionist account in the web app if you want prices locked for the night.

Why it matters

Because every door sale is a ticket type, your end-of-night reporting shows exactly what sold, at what price, to whom, and who drove them there. Door revenue stops being a lump sum and becomes data you can act on.
