Creating a Ticket Type

Creating a ticket type takes under a minute, and you only do it once. After that, it is ready on every event at the venues you assign it to.

Steps

  1. Go to Products β†’ Ticket Types

  2. Click + Add Ticket Type

  3. Enter the ticket name. This is the name your team sees at the door, promoters see in Guest Line, and guests see online, so keep it short and clear

  4. Choose the pricing mode:

    • Free: no price needed

    • Paid: enter the price

    • Live: set the time rule and the price for each window, for example free before 10:30pm and paid after

  5. Assign the ticket type to one or more venues

  6. Save

That's it. The ticket type now appears as an option every time you create an event at those venues.

What to do next

  • Add it to an event: When creating or editing an event, select the ticket type to make it active for that night

  • Assign it to promoters: Set individual limits per promoter for this ticket type on each event

  • Sell it online: Use it to build your online releases

A note on naming

Your reception team taps these names on tiles at a busy door, so name them the way your team talks. General Admission, Early Bird, and Guestlist Free all work better at 11pm than anything clever.
