Creating and Editing a Venue

A venue in Guestii carries everything about how you present on Guest Line and how your nights run: profile, socials, contact details, settings and floor plan. This article walks through all of it.

Creating a venue

From the Venues page, tap Add New. As you build, the Guest Line preview on the right shows your venue's public profile taking shape live, so you can see exactly what guests will see before you save.

Profile

Start by searching your venue to pull its details, then build the public face:

  • Profile image: JPG or PNG, max 4MB, 400 x 400 px recommended

  • Display name and handle (both required): your handle becomes your Guest Line link, guestline.io/yourhandle

  • Brand colour: your profile accent on Guest Line

  • Bio: tell guests about your venue

  • Video header: upload a video or paste a video URL, and it plays behind your profile like your events' promo videos

Socials

Link your Instagram, website, SoundCloud and Spotify. These show on your profile, and they're worth filling in: a profile with live socials reads as a real venue, not a placeholder.

Contact & Legal

Your contact email and phone, plus a terms and conditions URL if you have one.

Settings

  • Auto Approve Requests: automatically approve incoming Guest Line requests, so guest list requests land straight on your event as approved. See Managing Requests

  • Venue pixels: connect your Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Tag and Snapchat Pixel to fire on your venue profile page. Pixels connect after the venue is first saved, so create the venue, then come back to Settings. See Setting Up Your Pixels

Floor Plan

Editing an existing venue adds the Floor Plan tab, where you build the map your booth areas and packages run on. See the Booths collection.

Editing a venue

Open any venue from the Venues page to edit it. The same tabs apply, with your live Guest Line profile shown alongside, and changes go live when you hit Save Changes.
