How to create an event in Guestii

Everything is powered by events. You add Guests to the event, team members, venues and this is what powers the reporting. In this article you will see how to create an event!

Step by Step

  1. In the Hub page click โ€˜Add Newโ€™

  2. Enter in an event name and optional description, dress code and genre

  3. Choose your start and end time, you also have the option to set a recurring frequency to the event and make it Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly.

    (new events will automatically generate on Mondayโ€™s)

  4. Add ticket types to the event, this is what promoters will be able to sell on. If you choose none, your defaults will be used.

Once event is created, you can add your team: Event Managers, Scanners, Reception Role and of course Promoters, you will need to set limits for promoters.


Note: You need to make sure all ticket types for the event are selected.

  • The ticket types selected will then be able to be assigned to promoters, which is crucial to ensure consistent pricing across the night.
