What is a ticket type?
A ticket type sets the logic for how much a guest will pay when they arrive at the door via the Guestii Reception payment tool.
You can set up multiple ticket types per venue, you may have a Discounted Type, Full Price and Free.
When you add promoters to an event, you assign their promoter limits based on ticket types. For example: Promoter John Smith has 5x Free Tickets and 10x GA tickets to invite.
Live Ticket Types
In Guestii, you can set rules to ticket types. You can set a ticket to be a certain price before X time and a different price after X price to encourage guests to arrive early. This will automatically tell the door to charge the correct price.
How to create a ticket type?
Navigate to the product tab
In the Ticket Types section click the blue + Add Ticket Type Button
Input a Ticket Name, select the mode Regular or Live and choose if free or paid, if paid input price.
Select which venues you want the ticket to apply to and then click create ticket type
For Live Tickets, add in your rules on what times you want prices to apply for.
