Scanner & Reception Together

Some venues run both a Scanner and a Reception at the door at the same time. This is a common setup where one staff member admits guests by name and another handles payments separately.
How it works
The Scanner operator works at the front, checking guests off the list and admitting them. The Reception operator sits behind them and processes payments against the names as they come through.
The guest list in the Reception App refreshes every few seconds. As the Scanner admits guests, their names will appear automatically in the Reception App without needing to refresh manually.
Setting up the filter
To make this workflow clean, the Receptionist should set the status filter to Admitted. This means they will only see guests who have already been let through by the Scanner, keeping their view focused and avoiding any confusion with the full pending list.
To do this, swipe to Filters on the left panel and set the status to Admitted.
Free guests
If a guest has a free ticket and is admitted by the Scanner, no payment is required. They will simply move to the Completed tab and there is no action for the Reception to take.
