What is a Guestii Scanner?

The Guestii Scanner App is the same app used by Guestii’s but with upgraded functionality for door staff and event teams.

Once an account owner assigns you as a Scanner for an event, the app automatically switches to Scanner Mode, giving you full access to check-in and guestlist tools.

What can you do in Scanner Mode?

As a scanner, you can:

• Scan Guestii Passes – Check in dynamic QR codes instantly

• Manually tick in guests – For static lists or when QR codes aren’t available

• Filter the guestlist – Sort by:

  • Tag (e.g. VIP, Staff, Competition)

  • Pass type (e.g. Free vs Paid)

  • Promoter list (see only guests added by specific promoters)

• View guest details – See entry notes, tag info, and +1s

• Give Guestii’s Ratings

What devices are supported?

Scanner Mode works seamlessly on both:

• Mobile phones

• Tablets

This makes it ideal for roaming scanners or fixed iPad setups at the door.

Do I need a different app?

No — it's the same Guestii app guests use.
Scanner Mode activates automatically when your account is assigned as a scanner for an event.
