Adding Promoters and Hosts
Adding a promoter takes a minute, and the type you choose shapes what they can do, so this article covers both types and the choice between them.

Creating a promoter or Host
Go to Team in the Guestii web app
Tap Add New and select the Promoter role
Choose their type: Promoter to invite guests and manage their own list, or Host to manage crews of promoters
Enter their first name, last name and email
Add tags, or create a new tag on the spot. Tags help you group and filter your promo team, like separating your drinks hosts from your general crew
Tap Next and complete the setup
They'll receive an invite to log in and register an account on Guest Line. On their first login they'll complete two-factor authentication, and they're ready to be assigned to events.
The promoters will not see anything within the app unless youβve added them to an event
Which type to pick
If they're working their own network and bringing guests, they're a Promoter. If they're running other promoters and you want their crew's numbers rolling up under them, they're a Host. Pick Promoter when unsure, since most of your team will be Promoters and the ones who need Host will be obvious.
Building a Host's crews
Crews fill from two directions:
From the web app: open a Host from your team list and head to the Crews tab. Crews are per venue: search your promoters and add them to the crew for that venue. A promoter can sit in one crew per venue, and promoters already in a crew at that venue are marked when you try to add them
From the Guest Line app: Hosts can add promoters into their crews themselves, straight from Guest Line. Your Hosts build their own teams as they recruit, without waiting on you
Either way, the crew rolls up under the Host the same. See Promoters and Hosts.
Don't forget event assignment!!!!!
Like every role, promoters only see events they've been assigned to. Assign them and set their ticket type limits, and they're live. See Assigning Team Members to Events and Managing Promoter Limits.
